When is a crime a crime, and where is the line that criminals seem to have to cross before justice is done? Why are Police officers spending more time behind a desk filing form after form and basically pen-pushing instead of being out on the streets locking up scumbags?
The alarming developments in the Caucuses, with Russia invading the sovereign state of Georgia will have significant consequences for a long time to come. What is even more alarming is what CNN's White House correspondent said following a statement by President Bush; “We're at the beginning of a second cold war”.
So, the latest piece of 'brilliance' if you can call it that from the British Government in tandom with the Bank Of England, is to advise employers not to give pay increases because of the increasing cost of living. I've never heard of anything so rediculous, although it is absolutely typical and what I've come to expect from this Labour government of ours.
So, Nasa have successfully landed their Phoenix expedition on Mars, far more to the north than any probe in history. I watched the landing on TV, but still, the feeling of touching another planet reaches further than the people who built this probe. So, can we send a man to Mars and can we do it even though Nasa are retiring the Space Shuttle??
